Bushido Kai Judo is a family oriented non-profit judo club. Very active in local, state, national and international competition. Our students learn Judo as a competitive sport and a martial art that is an effective means of self defense. The instructors at Bushido Kai Judo Club work hard to create challenging and exciting classes to further our tradition of training national and international competitors. A big congratulations to Heiko Rommelmann, Jeff Giunta, Kerry Forster, and Kirsten Weisbeck for being selected to compete in the 2008 IJF Kata World Cup!! These two teams will be competing in Paris, France on November 22nd and 23rd. Best of luck to all at this prestigious event.
New Fall Session Begins!
The new session is starting this fall, beginning on the 22nd of September for Adult Judo, the 23rd for Adult Jujitsu, and the 27th for Youth Judo.
2008 Empire State Games, Binghamton
Congrats to everyone who competed at this years Empire State Game tournament! All competitors did a great job representing the Western Region. The results were as follows:

Everyone fought really well, and we had a great turnout of competitors as well as helpers.
Juniors: Lincoln All - Bronze Grace Hossler - 4th Heiko Karl Rommelmann - 5th Connor French - 5th And great job to Cory Giunta, Ford Hossler, Tyler Hosmer, Tim Conley, and Gage Forster, who had some great matches and did an awesome job!
Seniors: Mike Gressens - Gold Will Setter - Gold Mike Marone - Silver Kayleigh McAuliff - Bronze Alex - Bronze Mark Chast - 4th Casey Jordan, Ben Geisselman, Kirsten Weisbeck, and Kerry Forster also fought really hard and did a great job.

What a great tournament! Everyone on the USA Kata team did a great job, and the results were as follows:
Sensei Heiko and Sensei Jeff - Gold in Nage no kata, Katame no kata, and Ju no kata.
Sensei Chris and Sensei Kevin - Bronze in Ju no kata.
Sempai Kerry and Taisho Kirsten - Gold in Katame no kata and silver in Nage no kata.

Shiai Results: Sensei Mark - Bronze in the -90kg Masters division
